Welcome to Bray and District Chamber of Commerce.

Bray and District Chamber of Commerce is the largest Chamber in County Wicklow and I am honoured to have been elected as President for 2013/2014. My vision for the Chamber is to ensure it effectively represents industry and business in the Bray area.

Due to the way in which the Chamber network is structured, we have a unique insight into how businesses interact with Local Authorities.  We understand the concerns of the business community and are best placed to voice their opinions.

We have a number of fantastic amenities and businesses here in Bray and we have an obligation to maximise the potential.  The Main Street is in the process of being rejuvenated and we will build on this to attract new businesses and more visitors to Bray.  As you may know Bray Chamber sponsor and support a number of events throughout the year, which include St. Patrick’s Festival, Bray Summerfest, The Bray Local Expo, The Endeavour Awards and The Christmas Light.

The Executive Committee, staff and sub committees work tirelessly for the community and local businesses but the Chamber also depends on the support of it’s membership as without the membership none of the above would be possible.

As many of you know, next year will see the loss of our town council so as the only elected representative body, Bray Chamber will play a vital role in liasing with the new County Council officials on belhalf of the Bray businesses community.

I will endeavour to work hard and do what is right for our town and community and look forward to the next two years.
