Bray & District Chamber of Commerce has named Kieran Ward as its new president following an election at its recent AGM. Kieran succeeds Sarah Finnegan who served as Chamber president for two years.
After receiving the chain of office, president of Bray Chamber Kieran Ward said his vision for the Chamber is clear, he hopes to increase membership and foster an environment where members not only thrive but unite in a collective effort to elevate Bray’s business Community. “By increasing membership, we broaden our network, and together, we can increase our impact. I am passionate about promoting our members businesses, through our social media platforms, collaborative initiatives, events and strategic partnerships, we can showcase the diverse talents and offerings within our community”.
Kieran said he believes “together we can ensure that Bray continues to be a vibrant hub of commerce, where every business has the opportunity to shine. Let us look forward to the coming year with enthusiasm, unity, and a shared commitment to the prosperity of Bray’s Business Community, I am very excited to serve as Bray Chamber’s president”.
Kieran is no stranger to Bray Chamber having served on the Executive Council for many years and as Vice President for the last year and Hon Secretary previously. Kieran is a director of Condor Publishers Ltd. His work takes him all over the country, where he has built up a strong network with other businesses, towns and Chambers.
“Kieran has extensive experience in Public/community partnerships, and we are excited about the energy and vision that he will bring to the Chamber,” said outgoing president Sarah Finnegan.
On accepting the Chain of office, Kieran acknowledged the Executive Council and Chamber office, for the hard work and time they have given to the Chamber. Kieran concluded by saying he was determined to make Bray Chamber go from Strength to Strength and he is looking forward to the challenge.
